Our Mental Health Mission.

It is essential to recognize the impact that mental health conditions can have on individuals and their loved ones. "Twisted" is a powerful movie that brings attention to some of the most complex and misunderstood mental health conditions of our time. We have therefore partnered ourselves with organizations that provide critical resources and services to those struggling with mental health issues related to memory loss, dissociative identity disorder, PTSD, and manipulation. Learn more about these organizations below, and we urge you to join us and support our non-profit partners by donating today! Your donation can make a significant impact on someone's life and contribute to building a society that prioritizes mental health and well-being. Let's work together to destigmatize mental health conditions and provide support for those who need it. Choose a cause that you can identify with and we encourage you to donate today!

The Heartfelt Club

The Heartfelt Club

Globally, on average, one man dies of suicide every minute of every day. Men's Mental Health is a neglected subject leaving men who struggle with mental health issues hesitant to seek help. Often, they fear being stigmatized or bringing shame to themselves or their families. The Heartfelt Club aims to stop the stigma around men's mental health and to make resources more accessible.

Founder, Brianna Curtis, launched The Heartfelt Club on June 1st of 2021 during Men’s Mental Health Month. Having lost countless friends to suicide, the passing of a former coach, Ross Fowler, sparked the realization of how prevalent suicide is among males, provoking the question of why this may be. The answer seemed simple. The stigma placed around mental health resources is amplified by the societal pressure of what it means to “be a man.” This archaic rhetoric leaves men isolated, uncertain of where to turn, and stuck suffering in silence.

The Heartfelt Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down the stigma around men's mental health and making resources more accessible by stopping the stigma and starting the discussion. Our mission is to create a safe space where men can talk about their mental health struggles without fear of judgment or shame.

As a filmmakers, we believe that movies have the power to create positive change in the world. With "Twisted," my aim was not only to entertain and captivate audiences but also to raise awareness about mental health and the stigma that surrounds its treatment. By exploring the nuances of memory and mental health in a thrilling and thought-provoking way, I hope to spark conversations and encourage viewers to seek help when they need it.

Our goal is to contribute to a culture that values mental health and removes the shame that so often surrounds it. Through teamwork & collaboration, we want to help break down the barriers that prevent people from seeking treatment and support. It’s my hope that "Twisted" will be a catalyst for change, inspiring empathy and understanding for those who struggle with mental health issues.

In the end, our ultimate ambition is for "Twisted" to be a powerful tool for creating a more compassionate and accepting world. We are excited to share this project with audiences and to continue exploring the potential of storytelling to make a positive impact on society.
